ATLANTA, May 16, 2006 – Today’s opening of the fifth runway at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport sets the stage for additional domestic and international expansion, along with improved on-time performance, for Atlanta-based Delta Air Lines – the largest airline at the world’s largest airport. Delta anticipates the fifth runway will immediately improve arrival and departure rates by 25-35 percent and significantly reduce delays for customers flying to, from or through Atlanta during severe weather and peak travel periods.

ATLANTA, May 15, 2006 – Delta Air Lines will begin new nonstop daily service between Sioux Falls, S.D. and its largest hub at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport this summer. Effective Aug. 7, Delta Connection carrier Atlantic Southeast Airlines will offer customers one daily round-trip flight between the two cities featuring the quiet and comfortable Bombardier CRJ200 jet aircraft. Sioux Falls is the 14th domestic destination added from Atlanta since last fall, as part of a continuing effort to improve and increase service levels to and from Atlanta.

NEW YORK, May 15, 2006 – Delta Air Lines – New York City’s largest international airline – tonight continues the largest international expansion in its history with the introduction of two more trans-Atlantic routes from its growing hub at John F. Kennedy International Airport. At 7:40 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., respectively, Delta jets will take off from New York-JFK for Dublin/Shannon, Ireland and Manchester, England, becoming the 16th and 17th nonstop trans-Atlantic routes served by Delta from New York.

NEW YORK, May 11, 2006 – Delta Air Lines will further expand its market-leading presence for customers at New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport with the addition of 25 daily Delta Connection carrier flights to 14 nonstop domestic destinations beginning between July and October. With the new service, Delta now plans to offer more than 140 peak-day domestic departures from its JFK hub by October, up from 70 in May.

ATLANTA, May 8, 2006 – Delta Air Lines this week continues its quest to offer customers service to more worldwide destinations than any other U.S. airline with the addition of two more trans-Atlantic routes from the United States. Tonight, Delta will operate its first flight from its New York-JFK hub to Budapest, Hungary, providing customers with a convenient link between the capital of Hungary and the world’s financial capital.

ATLANTA, May 8, 2006 – Delta Air Lines will offer customers new, twice-daily service between the world’s largest airline hub at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and the Killeen-Fort Hood Regional Airport in Killeen, Texas, effective Sept. 7, 2006. The new year-round service will be Delta’s first between Killeen-Fort Hood and Atlanta and will provide Central Texas customers easy access to Delta’s global network, including non-stop service to 84 international destinations in 46 countries and 211 domestic destinations in all 50 states*.

ATLANTA, May 7, 2006 – “The Spirit of Delta” – Delta Air Lines’ employee-purchased aircraft – returns home Sunday to a welcoming crowd of Delta leaders, employees and friends. The Delta Air Transport Heritage Museum, Inc. will accept the aircraft for permanent display during an event at Delta’s World Headquarters in Atlanta. The Boeing 767, a symbol of pride for Delta people, began a farewell tour of key Delta cities in March before being renovated in preparation for permanent display at the Museum.
