SkyMiles members traveling on aircraft equipped with the new Delta Sync seatback experience can use the Fly Delta app to log in to their seatback screen. Here, they can save their must-watch Oscars®-nominated films to their favorites. These selections will await them under “My List” for an encore performance when they log in on their next flight. Delta Sync seatback is currently available on more than 185 aircraft and is expanding to additional aircraft by the end of the summer.

Breaking the Oscars® Ceiling and Women’s History Month

In honor of Women’s History Month, Delta customers can enjoy a new collection onboard titled “Breaking the Oscars® Ceiling.” This collection, thoughtfully curated by the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in partnership with Delta, the official airline of the Academy, highlights the trailblazing works of women filmmakers and artists who have made Oscars® history.

Providing space for diverse communities to be seen

In case you missed it: Delta was honored with the African American Film Critics Association’s (AAFCA) Film Advocate Award in recognition of its commitment to diversity in entertainment offered onboard Delta flights and embracing emerging filmmakers with its programming.   

Ekrem Dimbiloglu and Catherine McDaniel of Delta’s In-Flight Entertainment and Connectivity Team accepted the Film Advocate Award on behalf of the airline on March 3 at the 7th Annual AAFCA Special Achievement Awards luncheon honoring cinematic Black excellence. 

The global airline believes that in order to connect the world, you must reflect and respect it. Showcasing films that highlight diverse communities across the world aligns with this central value and is something Delta teams are deeply committed to.
