Eric Phillips, S.V.P. and Chief Digital Officer

Eric Phillips is Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Officer for Delta Air Lines, where he leads teams focused on delivering digitally enabled personalized, seamless, and premium experiences for customers.  

Delta continues to innovate and modernize digital tools to put the power of flexibility, control, and simplicity at the core of the travel experience. Eric partners with leaders across the enterprise to accelerate cross-functional initiatives and drive a multi-disciplinary approach to enhancing customer interactions with Delta’s digital platforms and channels. 

Eric served most recently as S.V.P. – Airport Customer Service, Cargo Operations, GSE and Global Clean, where he was responsible for customer service activities in all airports Delta serves. Prior to that, he was S.V.P. – Pricing and Revenue Management, where he oversaw the development, planning and execution of pricing and inventory management strategies across the entire Delta system, Delta’s digital retail channels, Delta.com and the FlyDelta app, as well as commercial systems development and corporate revenue forecasting.    

In his 25+ years with the company, he’s held numerous positions across the business, including in Corporate Strategy, Business Development, Network Planning, Financial Planning & Analysis and Pricing & Revenue Management.   

Eric earned his B.A. in Communications at Carroll College in Helena, Mont., and his MBA at the University of Notre Dame. He serves as a member of the Notre Dame Worldwide Advisory Council, is a past chair and current member of Delta’s Diversity and Inclusion Council and serves on the Board of Directors for Camp Twin Lakes. He is also a graduate of Leadership Atlanta.
