The new feature-length cinematic documentary, “The Steepest Climb: How Delta Air Lines Navigated the Global Pandemic,” is coming to Delta Studio this June. The film tells the behind-the-scenes story of how the 90,000 people of Delta battled the worst crisis in the airline’s history and emerged stronger than ever.
The true origin of the Delta name doesn’t lie solely in the Greek letter – it’s the brainchild of a woman named Catherine FitzGerald, who suggested the name to Delta’s founder as a way to pay homage to the agricultural region that was foundational to the airline’s success.
Tickets are now on sale for this year's Annual Atlanta Airline Collectibles Show and Sale, hosted by the Delta Flight Museum on Saturday, Oct. 1. Visitors can expect to see over 50 vendors selling aviation-related items that range from airplane seats to models and playing cards.
