Matt Cincera, S.V.P. - Software Engineering
In his current role, Matt is responsible for Software Engineering at Delta, which includes all customer facing technology (delta.com, the Fly Delta mobile application), servicing technology (airport customer service, automation/AI, customer call center/reservations technology), operations technology and corporate technology. Additionally responsible for driving scaled technology efficiency and productivity opportunities and driving a software engineering culture within Delta.
Before joining Delta, he was the Chief Digital Officer for AIG, including management of AIG.com and associated internet properties, mobile applications, digital strategy and innovation, and the AIG intranet. Prior to his role as Chief Digital Officer, he served as the Sales, Service, and Security Platform and Delivery Executive. In this role, he drove the implementation of an enterprise-wide testing capability and led the global delivery vendor program.
Matt also held numerous leadership roles at Bank of America and Motorola. At Bank of America, he led the Consumer Payments Technology organization and was the COO of the Customer Segments Technology organization. He also managed the online banking platform, drove several consumer technology product launches, including BankAmeriDeals ®, and managed several transition programs in support of bank M&A efforts both for the online & mobile team and for the information and analytics organizations. At Motorola, Mr. Cincera was the Manager of Internet Solutions within the semiconductor division responsible for operational support and developing the division’s Internet capabilities. Motorola's other leadership assignments included supporting global final manufacturing systems, customer relationship management, business to business transactions, and product marketing.
Matt graduated from the University of Wisconsin where he majored in Electrical Engineering, with an emphasis in Computer Engineering, and is a certified Six Sigma Blackbelt and is an author/co-author of multiple patents.
