Codeshare
The codeshare agreement will enable greater connectivity between the United States and the Middle East. Delta customers will gain access to nine destinations in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East beyond Saudia’s hubs in Jeddah and Riyadh.
Delta and SAS (Scandinavian Airlines System), the flag carrier of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, have signed a codeshare agreement effective Sept. 25, 2024. This agreement comes as SAS recently joined SkyTeam on Sept. 1.
Delta Air Lines and EL AL Israel Airlines will offer reciprocal codeshare and frequent flyer benefits, including the ability to earn and redeem SkyMiles or Matmid points across both carriers.
This new codeshare agreement will allow Delta to place its code on 20 airBaltic-operated routes to three of the Latvian carrier’s leading cities, including Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius.
In 2024, Aeromexico will launch 17 routes departing from seven airports in Mexico using many of the more than 50 new aircraft added to its fleet in the last two years. This expansion will benefit customers and enhance transborder flying options enabled by Aeromexico and Delta’s Joint Cooperation Agreement (JCA).
The airlines will implement a mutual codeshare and offer reciprocal frequent flyer benefits.
