Delta is a founding member of SkyTeam. The alliance includes 20 airlines operating more than 10,000 daily flights to over 1,000 destinations in 184 countries.
Delta and SAS (Scandinavian Airlines System), the flag carrier of Denmark, Norway, and Sweden, have signed a codeshare agreement effective Sept. 25, 2024. This agreement comes as SAS recently joined SkyTeam on Sept. 1.
It is the third time SkyTeam has been ranked as the number one alliance and the accolade comes in the same month that SkyTeam officially welcomed new member Virgin Atlantic.
