James Sarvis, Vice President – Customer Experience Culture
James Sarvis is currently the V.P. - Customer Experience Culture. James partners cross-divisionally with a workforce of 60,000 leaders and frontline employees influencing their execution on Delta's critical service Brand Beliefs. He ensures that hospitality standards and considerations are upheld in all stages of the travel ribbon.
Previously James served as V.P. - Global Cleanliness and Field Stations. This group is responsible for continuing to advance Delta's strategy and capabilities toward the future of cleanliness and sanitization onboard our aircraft and in our airport facilities around the world.
Previously James served as COO and E.V.P. with Delta's partner, AeroMexico, leading their Airport, Maintenance, Flight Operations and Cargo operations around the world.
Prior to his assignment with AeroMexico, James held the title of V.P. - In-Flight Services providing leadership and strategic direction related to managing the day-to-day customer service performance of Delta’s more than 24,000 flight attendants, supervisory and administrative personnel spanning the globe in 13 U.S. bases.
Previously, James served as Vice President – Airport Customer Service – Airport Operations. In this position James was responsible for the day-to-day operations in 220 airports in the United States. James also previously held the positions of Vice President – ACS International Field Operations with responsibility for 118 airports around the world.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, James attended the University of Puerto Rico. James is married and has three children.
