Jerry Allen, S.V.P. — TechOps Operations

Jerry Allen is the Senior Vice President of TechOps Operations with Delta Air Lines. In this role, Jerry oversees Line and Base Maintenance Operations, Cabin Operations, Inflight Entertainment & Connectivity, Engagement, Learning & Training, and Delta Flight Products. Jerry also serves as the Director of Maintenance (DOM) for Delta Air Lines with the overall responsibility for the safety, administration, and driving the aircraft maintenance strategies in accordance with applicable Federal Aviation Regulations.

Prior to this, Jerry was Vice President – Line Maintenance, encompassing Delta TechOps’ worldwide operations, Base and Airframe Supplier Operations, and Line Logistics, as well as serving as the airline’s DOM.

Jerry is an industry veteran with 37 years of service with Delta and has been instrumental in driving Delta’s industry-leading performance and maintenance operations solutions. He leads over 6,500 employees and oversees Delta's excellent daily reliability and performance results.

In his early years at Delta, Jerry gained valuable experience in TechOps. He has steadily advanced through numerous positions of expanded responsibilities including leading the day-to-day aircraft maintenance operations at Delta’s Salt Lake City and Atlanta hubs.

He is active in the community and serves on the Intermountain Health Foundation Board of Trustees overseeing local and regional fundraising programs throughout Utah and Southeast Idaho.
