Delta and its people earned three awards in two days at events in London this week. FlyerTalk recognized Delta with an award for Best Promotion and Best Loyalty Customer Service in the Americas for its SkyMiles program. That was followed with two Skytrax World Airline Awards – Best Airline in North America and Best Airline Staff service in North America.

It is the second year running that Delta has been named Best Airline in North America at the World Airline Awards, and last won the staff award at the 2019 ceremony.

The traveling public votes for all the awards. Skytrax utilizes its annual airline customer satisfaction survey, while FlyerTalk polls customers via online forums before short-listed candidates go through to an online ballot of qualified voters.

“It was an honor to represent Delta and more than 80,000 colleagues at these events in London,” said Clare Black, Delta’s GM EMEAI Sales Home Markets. “Knowing our customers vote for them is humbling and shows our product investments are favorably received. The staff award is also a testament to how our people around the world show the Delta Difference every day and provide excellent service to our customers.”

The World Airline and FlyerTalk awards are the latest of many accolades Delta has received this year, including being among Fortune’s Most Admired Companies and one of Forbes’s Best Workplaces for Women in the U.S. Delta’s SkyMiles program outperformed all global airlines and secured the No. 2 spot overall in U.S. News & World Report’s annual ranking of airline loyalty programs.
