Delta is forging its way to full network restoration, announcing new routes to Auckland and Nice and added frequency to Paris and Tel Aviv. This new slate of routes are in addition to the destinations announced last fall to Edinburgh, Berlin, Dusseldorf, Geneva and Stuttgart, many routes that have not been flown since pre-pandemic.
Peter Carter has been promoted to E.V.P. External Affairs, expanding his role leading Delta’s legal, regulatory and government affairs functions to oversee the airline’s international, innovation and sustainability strategy. Carter will remain on the Delta Leadership Committee.
Delta Air Lines will increase the frequency of its nonstop service between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and Seoul-Incheon International Airport with the addition of three-times-per-week service effective Dec. 13.
Delta customers ready to travel the globe will soon have more destinations to add to their bucket lists with the launch of two never-before-operated, nonstop routes from Atlanta to Cape Town and Los Angeles to Tahiti, both beginning Dec. 17. The airline will also add nonstop service from Atlanta to Tel Aviv beginning next May.
Delta is adding over 1,000 seats to Canada’s biggest markets in September – a 150% increase in capacity.
