This summer, Delta is celebrating 100 years of travel with a retail event designed to keep summertime adventures going – whether you’re flying, driving, cruising or shopping from home. Launching July 22 for Medallion Members and Delta SkyMiles® American Express Cardholders, and July 23 for all customers, the event brings together limited-time offers across flights, car, hotel rentals, vacation packages, cruises and everyday purchases, giving SkyMiles Members and Delta customers more ways than ever to earn and extend the spirit of summer into fall and beyond.

Delta Cars & Stays: SIXT joins as newest partner, more ways to earn miles

Whether planning a cross-country road trip or a quick weekend escape, SkyMiles Members can enjoy earning miles with Delta Cars & Stays – the one-stop-shop for booking cars, hotels and vacation rentals.

Beginning July 22, SIXT joins the lineup of top car rental brands available through the Delta Cars & Stays platform, and SkyMiles Members can earn 2 miles per eligible dollar spent on SIXT rentals booked through the platform. As part of the Beyond the Summer retail event and to celebrate the new partnership, SkyMiles Members can earn 3 miles per eligible dollar on SIXT rentals booked between July 21 and Aug. 20, 2025.

Known for its premium fleet and standout service, SIXT offers rentals at more than 2,000 locations. With a strong global footprint across 100 countries, including more than 50 U.S. airports and its growing network of off-airport locations, the partnership expands access to premium rental options in top destinations – making it easy for Members to earn miles wherever their travels take them.

“Customers want a loyalty experience that is relevant, reliable and valuable at every touchpoint in their journey, not just on their flight,” says Prashant Sharma, V.P. of Loyalty at Delta. “Our partnership with SIXT is the newest way we are meeting customers where they are as their preferences evolve across the world.”

And it doesn’t stop there: As part of the Beyond the Summer retail event, SkyMiles Members can earn 3X miles on all hotel stays booked through Delta Cars & Stays. Starting July 29, participating hotels will also include a 15% discount.

Delta Cruises: Earn MQDs while you sail

For the first time ever, SkyMiles Members can earn Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs) on Delta Cruises. From July 22 through August 22, Members will earn $1 MQD per $5 spent (excluding taxes and fees, additional terms apply). It’s a new way to work toward Medallion Status while enjoying the open seas for a limited time.

Delta Vacations: Save Up to $300 on Your Next Escape

SkyMiles Members can save up to $300 on Delta Vacations packages booked between July 22 and August 1. With travel valid through the end of the year, this offer makes it easy to lock in savings now – whether you’re dreaming of a beachside recharge, a cultural city vacation or overseas bucket list adventure.

Plus, as always, Members can earn Medallion Qualification Dollars (MQDs) toward Status on the total package price, and receive up to 10K bonus miles on every Delta Vacations flight + hotel getaway. Terms apply. 

Delta Gift Cards: Buy $300+, get 3X miles

Whether you’re planning your next trip or gifting someone else’s, Delta Gift Cards come with a bonus during the Summer Retail Event. SkyMiles Members will earn 3 miles per $1 dollar spent when purchasing $300 or more in Delta Gift Cards.

SkyMiles Shopping: Bonus miles for every cart

From July 21 through August 11, SkyMiles Shopping is offering tiered bonuses based on spend:

Spend $100–$399: Earn 300 bonus miles

Spend $400–$799: Earn 1,200 bonus miles

Spend $800+: Earn 2,000 bonus miles

These bonuses stack on top of the miles you already earn for shopping in more than 1,000 participating online stores through the platform, making it a smart way to stock up on essentials—or splurge on something special. Terms apply.
