Delta gears up for the big game with new travel options to Las Vegas

Delta will add up to 16 flights and more than 2,500 additional seats for pro football fans headed to Las Vegas from Kansas City, San Francisco, San Jose, and New York-JFK. SkyMiles Members traveling during the action can stream the game in-flight with Paramount+ on Delta Sync Wi-Fi.

Delta is boosting its Las Vegas flights to accommodate fans of football’s top teams converging at the title game on Feb. 11.

For Chiefs fans ready to cheer on their team, Delta is offering a new route from Kansas City International Airport (MCI) to Harry Reid International Airport (LAS).

Delta is thriving in Kansas City, capitalizing on the city’s recent $1.5 billion airport overhaul. The revamped MCI boasts a cutting-edge 39-gate terminal, offering customers a fully upgraded experience from curb to gate, including a modern lobby, expanded security checkpoint, local concessions, and advanced technology at the gates. Delta also opened an 11,200-square-foot Delta Sky Club at MCI last year, which, as the airport’s sole carrier lounge, provides versatile seating for nearly 200 guests to work, socialize, or relax before flights.

Delta is also introducing routes from San Francisco (SFO) and San Jose (SJC) for 49ers fans headed to LAS.

Delta also operates a Delta Sky Club at SFO with expansive views of the runways and bay, providing eligible customers with a place to relax and unwind before departing for Las Vegas.

In addition to its current service, Delta is also adding flights to LAS from New York-JFK to Las Vegas.

In 2023, Delta saw the opening of its second lounge at its New York-JFK hub, located at Terminal 4 near Gate A7.

Additionally, Delta customers in JFK now have a quicker way to move through the airport with Digital ID – creating a more seamless travel experience to the game.
