Delta ushered in its 100th anniversary with a larger-than-life presence at CES 2025 in Las Vegas. Spearheaded by a first-of-its-kind keynote delivered by CEO Ed Bastian at Sphere, Delta’s appearance at the tech event commemorated a century of groundbreaking aviation milestones and the airline’s commitment to innovation, all powered by people.

MAIN ANNOUNCEMENTS
ACT 1
Act 1 of Delta's CES 2025 opening day keynote at Sphere celebrated Delta people for driving the airline forward, with CEO Ed Bastian recognizing key Delta people who were in the audience:
- Diane Carvelli who, together with her late colleagues Ginny Oxford and Jean Owens, led a grassroots effort in 1982 to buy Delta's very first Boeing 767 aircraft
- Delta flight attendant Joan Crandall, who recently celebrated 65 years of service at Delta
- First Officer Dana Nelson - the first Black female pilot hired by Delta
- James Sarvis who’s served Delta for over 50 years in a number of vital positions
ACT 2
Act 2 of Delta's CES 2025 keynote highlighted Delta Concierge and new modes of seamless travel as well as reimagining the onboard experience.
ACT 3
In the final act of Delta's CES keynote at Sphere, Delta CEO Ed Bastian was joined on stage by Airbus Chief Sustainability Officer and Communications Julie Kitcher and WAYE Founder Sinead Bovell for a fireside chat imagining how the aviation industry and travel experience might evolve to be more sustainable and adapt to customer needs in the coming decades. The keynote ended with colorful displays, fireworks visuals and Bastian sharing the stage with Delta frontline employees.

Delta's activation at CES 2025 in Sphere's Atrium included interactive, pre-show exhibits, all designed to celebrate Delta’s 100-year history as well as a Gift Shop with Delta/CES swag for SkyMiles Members.
EXOSPHERE
Delta transformed the Exosphere into 360-degree, vibrant worlds representing the many destinations Delta connects us to, as well as the ever-growing network of people, places and experiences that Delta creates. At night, Delta’s takeover shifted to feature five planes representing the evolution of aviation over Delta’s 100-year history.
