Redeem rewards both in the air and on the ground

In addition to the choice of travel to over 1,000 destinations around the world, SkyMiles Members can take advantage of the following benefits and more:

  • Upgrade your seat: Use miles to upgrade your seat to a premium cabin on both domestic and international flights, including the recently refreshed Delta Premium Select experience with spacious seats with more recline and an adjustable foot and leg rest, as well as elevated food selections, Grown Alchemist scented towels, a special "bubbles & bites" service and a premium snack basket.

  • Sip on a cocktail in the Delta Sky Club: Delta continues to build more state-of-the-art Delta Sky Clubs across the network, including at New York’s LaGuardia Airport, Los Angeles International Airport, and Chicago-O’Hare’s Terminal 5. Once inside, use miles to treat yourself to an enticing selection of premium cocktails.

  • Become a VIP: Get exclusive access to experiences that money can't buy—including luxury vacations, sporting and celebrity events, and concerts like Jet Set with the Jonas Brothers —when you bid on SkyMiles Experiences.

  • Gift the gift of travel: Members can transfer miles to friends and family or support charities across the globe by donating miles through SkyWish.

  • Pay to check bags: Travelers with flights originating from most domestic airports can pay for standard checked bags fees with miles instead of paying in cash during check-in.

SkyMiles Members also receive special perks such as reduced pricing for CLEAR to move through security in minutes, no blackout dates for Award travel and the ability to earn miles on Award travel.

Delta continues to invest in its SkyMiles program to show Members just how much the airline values their business, including expanding how Members can earn and redeem miles. According to a recent report from U.S. News & World Report, Delta's SkyMiles program topped all international airlines in the publication's annual rating of airline loyalty programs for the sixth consecutive year. The ease of obtaining a free round-trip travel, additional perks, network coverage, flight volume, and airline quality ratings are the five factors that U.S. News considers when grading airlines.
