Delta adds more flights from Boston for Patriots’ Day and spring break getaways
With 15% more seats across key leisure routes, Delta is giving Boston travelers more opportunities to take a sunny break in Florida, the Caribbean and beyond.
Patriots’ Day is one of the most anticipated times of year in Massachusetts, bringing together a school vacation week and the unofficial start of spring. In 2027, Delta, the number one airline in Boston, is making it easier for travelers to turn the holiday into a warm-weather getaway. The expanded schedule builds on strong demand, adding over 45 round-trip flights and 6,000 seats.
Delta will offer additional service from Boston (BOS) over 10 days surrounding Patriots’ Day and spring break, including peak periods April 16-18 and April 22-25. Across the featured leisure routes, Delta will offer 15% more seats in 2027 than during the comparable 2026 holiday period.
More ways to reach the sun
The expanded schedule will give customers more options to visit popular destinations across Florida and the Southeast, including Charleston, Orlando, Savannah, Sarasota, Fort Myers, Myrtle Beach, Jacksonville and the Florida Panhandle.
Delta is also adding more nonstop capacity to Caribbean and Mexico favorites, with expanded options to destinations including San Juan, Nassau, Aruba, Punta Cana, Cancun and Turks & Caicos.
Patriot's Day Routes 2027
Customers traveling to the Gulf Coast will also have a new option with added nonstop service to Destin-Fort Walton Beach, while New Orleans service will feature a larger aircraft on a high-demand holiday flight. Additional capacity to Sarasota will provide another option for travelers headed to Florida’s Gulf Coast.
Whether customers are planning a long weekend, traveling during school vacation week or looking for a sunny break after Marathon Monday, Delta’s expanded schedule offers more opportunities to begin the trip close to home in Boston.
