This recognition is a testament to Delta’s people-first culture. Among the 1,000 companies TIME named to its 2026 list of America’s Best, Delta stands as the lone commercial airline to make the top 100, a reflection of the people and purpose behind the Delta brand

Behind the ranking

TIME partnered with Statista to evaluate organizations across three key pillars: employee satisfaction, financial performance and sustainability. Delta placed No. 98 overall, making it the only airline to rank in the top 100.

This isn't the first time Delta has been recognized by TIME. Last year, Delta was named to TIME's World's Best Companies list, ranking No. 148 globally and standing as the highest-ranked U.S. commercial airline.

Among Delta's recent recognitions:

  • One of Glassdoor's Top 100 Best Places to Work for 2026
  • No. 9 on Fortune's Best Companies to Work For list
  • One of Fortune's Best Workplaces for Women
  • Recognized by The Points Guy as the No. 1 U.S. airline for the eighth consecutive year

Together, these honors reflect the same throughline: the dedication of Delta people.  That commitment continues to make Delta an employer of choice and the airline customers choose to fly.
