Delta is taking proactive steps to minimize disruption for customers ahead of significant weather impacts from Winter Storm Hernando starting on Sunday and extending through Monday. Due to forecasted snow and winter weather, Delta is processing cancellations at East Coast airports, including Delta hubs BOS, JFK and LGA, to ensure the safety of our customers and people. Flexible options are available for customers whose travel takes them to, from or through affected airports, to move their flights outside the expected weather window.
Delta automatically rebooks customers to the next best itinerary, and customers can easily make further changes via the Delta app and delta.com. We encourage customers to take advantage of easy rebooking options in the Delta app and at delta.com as these are the same flight options that our reservation specialists have access to.
The safety of Delta customers and our people remains first and foremost as we closely monitor forecasts to determine necessary adjustments to flight schedules.
