Delta recognized by Chinese travelers as ‘Most Preferred North American Airline’ for fifth consecutive year
For the fifth consecutive year, Delta won a Flyer Travel Award as the Most Preferred North American Airline, presented by Flyertea.com, a premier travel-focused online community in China.
“We are honored to receive this prestigious award for the fifth consecutive year,” said Wong Hong, Delta’s President – Greater China and Singapore. “This recognition is a testament to the considerable investment Delta has made over the years to better address the customer needs of the fast-growing China market. We intend to continue to offer superior service and maintain Delta’s position as the preferred North American airline among Chinese customers.”
Inaugurated in 2013, the Flyer Travel Award annually recognizes the most outstanding airlines, hotels and business travel service providers with operations in China. Winners are selected through online surveys, voting and comments among Flyertea.com members who are frequent travelers. In the airline category, the Flyer Travel Award is presented to Chinese and international carriers for their excellence in operational performance, cabin products, and customer loyalty programs.
Delta continues to make significant investments toward building the most Chinese-friendly U.S. airline. Chinese travelers are well-served with local language options on delta.com, at airport self-service kiosks, with more than 50 Chinese and Chinese-subtitled movies on the in-flight entertainment and with Chinese chef curated onboard meal selections.
