Delta recognized as No. 1 on 2026 PEOPLE Companies that Care List

Share

Delta's people-first commitment has earned the No. 1 spot on the PEOPLE Companies that Care list, which recognizes the organizations that go above and beyond to support employees, communities and the world around them.

The highly competitive PEOPLE Companies that Care list is based on over 1.3 million employee survey responses and data from companies representing the experience of more than 8.4 million employees. Of those surveys, more than 1 million responses came from employees at companies eligible for this year’s list, and these rankings are based on that feedback.

“This recognition is a powerful reflection of the people who make Delta what it is,” said Allison Ausband, Delta’s Chief People Officer. “More than 100,000 Delta people show up every day committed to caring for each other, our customers and our communities. Their actions create the Delta Difference, and I couldn’t be more proud that PEOPLE has recognized the culture of care they have built together.”

A few of the many ways Delta goes above and beyond:

  • $1.3 billion in profit sharing paid to employees for 2025 performance.
  • Expanded financial wellness programs, including retirement readiness and emergency savings resources.
  • Continued investments in mental health and emotional well-being resources, helping employees and their families access support, build resilience and thrive both at work and at home.
  • $72.5 million in charitable giving in 2025.
  • More than 135,000 volunteer hours worldwide.
  • $18.5 million raised through employee and customer fundraising campaigns.
  • Expected annual savings of 3.3 million gallons of fuel and significant emissions reductions.
