Delta continues to be recognized for its efforts in making the travel journey as seamless and enjoyable as possible, with recent recognitions from The Points Guy, Popular Science, The Beat and Business Traveler USA, among others. Delta has led the industry again this year with its outstanding customer service, massive investments in infrastructure and operational efficiency.

“Just this year alone, Delta has unveiled multi-billion-dollar terminal transformations, launched refreshed onboard experiences, expanded product partnerships, and so much more, all to ensure our customers have the best experience possible when they fly with us,” said Allison Ausband, E.V.P. and Chief Customer Experience Officer. “These awards are not only reflective of our continued efforts but are also a nod to our talented and dedicated team that keep moving us forward with industry-leading innovation across every touchpoint.”

The Points Guy’s Editors’ and Readers’ Choice Awards—honoringexcellence in airlines, travel and loyalty programs—recognized Delta for its distinction in four top categories including: Best Airline Co-Branded Credit Card with the Delta SkyMiles® Platinum American Express, Best US Airline Loyalty Program and Best Airport Lounge Network, with Delta’s state-of-the-art Los Angeles (LAX) Sky Club topping the Readers’ Choice pick for the Best New Lounge.

Delta recently unveiled multi-billion-dollar terminal transformations in cities including Los Angeles, Seattle, New York and Salt Lake City, further demonstrating its dedication to those hubs and giving customers a more effective and smooth experience from the moment they arrive at the airport.

Business Traveler’s USA Travel Awards honored Delta with eight of its top awards spanning passenger experience and product offerings to frequent flyer programs, including:

  • Best North American Airline Business Class
  • Best Business Class to Central/South America
  • Best North American Airline for International Travel
  • Best Airline for Domestic Travel
  • Best Frequent Flyer Program for Delta SkyMiles
  • Best Wine Selection on Domestic Carriers in Business Class
  • Best Airline App
  • Best Airport Lounge in North America for Delta Sky Club LAX

The APEX/IFSA Awards recognized Delta’s new premium Someone Somewhere amenity kits, which feature handcrafts that preserve Mexican artisan traditions, with the title for Best Onboard Amenity. Each year, industry and media judges award innovative approaches to business in passenger experience from airlines and vendors. Through these kits, Delta aims to have a positive social, economic, and environmental impact while providing a premium experience to its customers. To date, it has created more than 300 jobs, removed 90,000 pounds of plastic each year and helped empower artisans – 75% of whom are women – to be recognized as independent income-earning leaders in their communities.

Popular Science named Delta’s groundbreaking PARALLEL REALITY™ experience a “Best of What’s New” innovation for 2022 in the Aerospace category.  The mind-bending display at Detroit Metropolitan Airport, developed in partnership with California-based startup Misapplied Sciences, allows up to 100 customers to each see personalized flight information tailored to their unique journey on a single, shared digital screen—at the same time.

For the 10th consecutive year, The Beat Readers’ Choice Awards named Delta Most Admired Airline and Overall Most Admired Supplier. The publication, which caters to senior-level corporate travel professionals, asks readers to vote each year on the most admired technology company, travel management company, airline, payment company, lodging brand, car rental brand and supplier of the year for its policies, management style and service for business clients.

Delta is proud to be America's most-awarded airline and has received top honors from Business Travel News, Conde Nast Traveler and Forbes in the last few months alone.
