Since 2005, Delta has proudly supported 99 research projects at the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, raising over $24.75 million.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and Delta is once again going pink to support the cause.

"Because of early detection, I was able to begin my fight right away,” said Kristen Manion Taylor, S.V.P. of In-Flight Service and a breast cancer survivor. “By a stroke of luck, the life-saving treatment and care I received was through doctors who were funded by our BCRF partnership. Delta’s involvement and annual promotion of this cause is now personal; it means the world to me. The continued generosity and support of Delta employees and customers is amazing, and I could not be more grateful.”

In 2023 alone, an estimated 297,790 women and 2,800 men in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer. The next round of funding — and the next breakthroughs — hinge on what happens now.

“BCRF has long been a cause near and dear to my heart, but when my mother was diagnosed last year, it took on a whole new meaning. Standing by her side as she battled breast cancer so bravely, I knew I would do anything to find a cure,” said Allison Ausband, E.V.P. and Chief Customer Experience Officer. “I am humbled by Delta’s unwavering presence in this fight as we work together to fund research and support survivors and fighters, knowing we won’t stop we’ve ended this disease.”

Each year, our customers are instrumental to fundraising efforts. Keep reading for ways you can support, whether at home or in the air. Donations can be made all year round at delta.com/BCRF
