Warren Weston, one of Delta’s lead meteorologists, gives an inside look at every role Delta’s in-house meteorology team plays, from updating the Weather Information Tool and helping flight crews avoid turbulence to forecasting the weather both around major airports and up to 40,000 feet.

Delta teams will stay close with all officials and stakeholders at airports within the path of the storm to safely resume flying when conditions on the ground are safe to do so.

In addition to Delta's contribution to relief efforts, customers can make contributions through Delta's microsite created in partnership with the American Red Cross.

Due to forecasted weather in the Northeastern U.S., Delta has issued a travel waiver for those who may be impacted – effective June 27, 2022.
