Carey Richardson is the VP of Corporate Audit and Enterprise Risk Management for Delta Air Lines.

Carey started her career in Financial Services (Washington Mutual, now part of JP Morgan Chase), taking on progressive roles, ultimately leading the financial planning and analysis division for Retail Banking. She joined Amazon in 2009, where she led the internal audit function for Amazon’s consumer business (representing $250B in revenue) and later built Amazon’s Risk and Compliance function for the Transportation and Logistics division. Most recently, Carey served as V.P. of Internal Audit at GoBrands, a start-up based in Philadelphia, where she built the internal audit function end-to-end.

Carey has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Washington and is a CPA. She recently relocated to Atlanta from Seattle with her husband, Steve.
