Delta resuming flights at DTW
Delta flights are resuming at Detroit (DTW) following a connectivity issue this morning that has been resolved.
Delta issued the following statements this morning regarding its operation at Detroit Metro Airport (DTW):
9:40 a.m. update:
Delta flights are resuming at Detroit (DTW) following a connectivity issue this morning that has been resolved. Delta has issued a waiver to provide flexibility for customers traveling to, from or through DTW on Dec. 5 and 6. We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers and thank them for their patience as Delta teams work to safely return to normal operations. Customers should continue to monitor the status of their flight via the Fly Delta app and Delta.com, where they can also make adjustments to their itineraries.
8:45 a.m. update:
Due to a technical connectivity issue in Detroit, Delta has issued a ground stop for all flights at DTW airport this morning. Delta teams are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible with safety remaining our priority. We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers who should monitor the status of their flight via the Fly Delta app and Delta.com.
