After widespread inclement weather across eastern North America, Delta teams are working to safely reset our operation on Tuesday.

Delta continues to offer flexible options to customers traveling through affected airports to adjust their flights at no additional cost.

With delays from Monday impacting flight crew availability for required rest, additional cancels are occurring Tuesday. While cancellations are always a last resort after all options are exhausted, customers are automatically rebooked to the next best available flight.

Customers are encouraged to use the Delta app or delta.com for the latest information on their flight and to make changes to bookings if needed. Customers may get a refund if a flight is canceled and they choose not to travel.

Additionally, due to the ongoing United States partial government shutdown, longer than usual wait times at TSA security checkpoints can be expected. Customers should check airport resources for wait times and plan to arrive early.
