Discover on Delta this fall: New features, holiday collections and fresh mixtapes now on board
Delta is taking the in-flight experience to new heights this fall. Customers will enjoy an all-new seatback entertainment experience through Delta Sync rolling out to select aircraft now, and a fresh selection of hit movies and shows.
Delta’s journey to curate the ultimate platform for discovery will reach a key milestone this fall with a host of updates elevating the seatback screen experience.
Delta Sync's new smart TV features unlocked by SkyMiles Membership on select flights, a fresh slate of seasonal collections and Spotify-curated playlist mixtapes, and more ways to enjoy the airline’s industry-leading seatback screens are some of the key highlights coming to travelers this fall.
“Customers flying on Delta today can enjoy more ways to meaningfully connect and discover than ever before,” said Ranjan Goswami, Senior Vice President – Customer Experience Design. “Just this year, we added fast, free Wi-Fi on most domestic mainline routes, exclusive ways to engage mainstay brands in-flight, and now an all-new way of enjoying in-flight entertainment that brings a smart TV experience to the sky that is similar to their favorite streaming service at home.”
Delta’s efforts to elevate the onboard experience are bringing travel into a new era of entertainment. By bringing functionality and content that feels closer to what customers would find at home, the airline is creating new ways for customers to stay connected, entertained and rewarded across their journey.

SMART TV PERSONALIZATION WITH DELTA SYNC UNLOCKED BY SKYMILES MEMBERSHIP
First announced at CES 2023, Delta’s new seatback screen platform is now being tested onboard select Airbus A321ceo aircraft, with additional aircraft coming online soon. The new experience aims to change how customer loyalty and in-flight experience work together to the benefit of the customer.
“Our customers have told us what they want to do on board: watch the latest box office hits, engage in brain-stimulating activities and games, stay connected with loved ones and be productive with work and other commitments,” said Goswami. “It’s about giving customers the freedom to discover their next favorite moment at 30,000 feet – and it unlocks the minute you become a SkyMiles Member.”
SkyMiles Members1 will enjoy a refreshed look and feel, smart TV features and best-in-class content, technology that remembers where you left off on a movie, a list of their favorite movies and series, and much more. All features designed to feel like streaming services customers have used at home.
Authentication follows a familiar process. Customers simply follow the two-step prompt on their seatback screen to connect their SkyMiles account to the personalized experience using the Fly Delta app.2
Delta’s Airbus A321ceo fleet will be the first to support the new seatback screen software, growing from a small number of aircraft with the platform onboard to the entire fleet type by the end of the year.
