James Sarvis serves as the Vice President – Global Clean & Field Stations. Serving in the company’s only officer position overseeing cleanliness and sanitation, James’ team maintains a safe, clean experience for customers and employees onboard and in airport facilities worldwide. James reports to Erik Snell, Senior Vice President – Airport Customer Service (ACS), Cargo Operations, Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Global Clean.

James joined Delta in 1974 as an Airport Customer Service agent. Throughout his tenure, he has held numerous positions within the company’s operational divisions including Airport Customer Service, In-Flight Services and Global Clean. He helped launch 50 new international stations over a three-year period and also served as Chief Operations Officer & Executive Vice President of partner airline Aeromexico.

Outside of work, James is a father, grandfather and avid road bike rider. He is also third-degree black belt in Okinawan Goju-Ryu Karate.
