David Garrison is Senior Vice President of Corporate Safety and Security, responsible for leveraging and improving the effectiveness of Delta’s safety management system as we continually identify, assess and mitigate safety risks and threats inherent in our business.

David most recently served as S.V.P. – Delta Connection and Delta Global Services, CEO Endeavor Air for Delta Air Lines. In this role, he oversaw all aspects of the more than 2,300 daily departures for Delta’s six regional partner airlines and was responsible for Delta’s wholly owned subsidiary, Delta Global Services, which encompasses more than 20,000 employees and is a leading supplier of aviation services across the U.S., Bahamas and Guam. As CEO of Endeavor Air, David led Delta’s wholly owned regional carrier, which operates more than 700 daily departures under the Delta Connection brand.

David is a 30-year Delta veteran, joining Delta TechOps in 1991 as a Propulsion Engineer. Prior to his current role, David was Senior Vice President – Engineering, Quality, Planning & Logistics, responsible for Delta’s engineering and technical services, reliability and maintenance programs, inspection, quality assurance and maintenance planning. Additional roles include leading Engine and Component Maintenance, Engineering and the Materials, Planning and Logistics organizations.

David holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Physics from Emory University as well as a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
