Delta earned UNCF's Corporate Partner Award at the minority education non-profit's 75th annual gala held on March 21.

The award, given by the organization's New York Chapter, recognizes Delta's long-term commitment to UNCF through scholarships, fundraisers and financial support for historically black colleges and universities.

UNCF, founded in 1944, is the largest minority education organization in the U.S.

Accepting the award on Delta's behalf, Henry Kuykendall, Senior Vice President — Airport Operations, Northeast, said, "Delta people worldwide are fueled by their passion to make a difference — to have an impact. Our success would be meaningless without it."

Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg was also honored at the gala with a Lifetime Achievement Award.

Delta supports UNCF's national programming in Washington, D.C., as well as additional UNCF chapters in Atlanta, Detroit, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis/St. Paul.

Visit www.uncf.org for more information on the organization's education initiatives.
