Narayanan (KK) Krishnakumar is Delta’s Chief Technology Officer. As a member of the CIO's leadership team, Krishnakumar is responsible for leading Delta’s applications layer transformation as part of the airline’s efforts to continually develop fast and innovative solutions to enhance employee and customer experiences.

Before joining Delta, Krishnakumar spent nine years at Dell Technologies/EMC where he was most recently Senior Vice President and CTO in Dell Digital. Krishnakumar’s 25-plus-year career has included executive leadership roles within various industries at companies including State Street Corporation, Investors Bank and Trust and Fidelity Investments. A graduate of the Indian Institute of Technology, he holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from SUNY - Stony Brook and an MBA from the Babson College F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business. Krishnakumar is a published author with 19 technical papers, multiple awarded/submitted patents and a book, "Databases and Mobile Computing" to his credit.
