Charisse Evans, V.P. ‐ Airport Operations, Field Support & Cargo Operations

Charisse Evans Serves as the Vice President – Airport Operations, Field Support & Cargo Operations. She leads a team responsible for overseeing airport strategy, employee engagement and ground safety initiatives for the Airport Customer Service (ACS) division, made up of more than 30,000 Delta employees. This also includes leadership for Delta’s Cargo Operations and Ground Support Equipment teams. Charisse reports to Erik Snell, Senior Vice President – Airport Customer Service (ACS), Cargo Operations, Ground Support Equipment (GSE) and Global Clean. 

She is also the company's executive sponsor of SHE, Delta's employee business resource group for women.

Most recently, as Vice President – Employee Relations, Charisse led a Human Resources team aimed at driving further accountability to Delta’s values, ensuring the airline’s policies and procedures are fair, transparent and consistent across the organization.

Since beginning her career at Delta as a part-time Reservation Sales Agent, Charisse has held several positions, including Vice President – Customer Experience Integration. Prior to that role, Charisse was Vice President – Reservation Sales and Customer Care for Delta. In this position, she was responsible for 10 customer engagement centers in four countries, staffed by 6,000 employees who handled an average of 32 million calls and 3 million social media contacts per year. The teams generated $2.6 billion in annual sold revenue.

Charisse was named one of Moves Magazine Power Women for 2019, and TravelPulse.com listed her as one of the 20 Influential Women in the Travel Industry. She serves on the board of advisers for Women Leading in Travel and Hospitality and Hallie Bankhead Foundation supporting childhood cancer. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of North Texas and is active in her community, supporting causes such as breast cancer research and women’s empowerment.
