Delta again certified by Great Place to Work® as a top employer

In the survey conducted by Great Place to Work®, 85% of employees who responded said Delta is a great place to work. This is compared to Great Place to Work®’s benchmark of 57% for employees at a typical U.S.-based company.

Delta people from TechOps, In-Flight Service, Global Sales, Finance, IT and Flight Operations rallied to purchase and assemble bicycles, as well as rally toy and money donations to support Toys for Tots.

For the fifth year, Delta Air Lines has been certified by Great Place to Work® as a top employer, based on a survey of Delta employees. Great Place to Work® is an esteemed expert in workplace culture that awards certification based on dedication to the overall employee experience.  

In the survey conducted by Great Place to Work®, 85% of employees who responded said Delta is a great place to work. This is compared to Great Place to Work®’s benchmark of 57% for employees at a typical U.S.-based company.

“Delta people are the heart and soul of our airline, and we’re grateful to them for this recognition,” said Delta’s Chief People Officer Joanne Smith. “Our culture is rooted in listening to our employees and acting on their feedback, so that we can make the most meaningful investments in their wellness and growth. We know that when we invest in our people and foster a great workplace, our people will deliver the best experiences for our customers.” 

Investments in the last year include Delta’s emergency savings program offering financial coaching and up to $1,000 to fuel employees’ rainy-day funds, a 5% pay increase worldwide, and $563 million paid in profit-sharing.
