Delta’s 12Status SkyMiles loyalty program returns for another Seahawks’ season
The Seattle Seahawks are back on the field, starting this Sunday with their first game of the season. For the seventh year, Delta – the official airline of the Seahawks – is rewarding fans and Delta customers for their loyalty through their 12status program.
Originally launched ahead of the 2016 season, the loyalty program rewards Seahawks fans for the team's performance on the field with miles through the Delta SkyMiles(R) program and other exclusive benefits.
This year, for the first time in 12Status history, Delta is teaming up with the guy behind the passing yards and working with Seahawks QB, Geno Smith, as a program ambassador. Smith will appear in marketing materials in Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, at Lumen Field and across digital channels.
“Partnering with Delta on the 12status program creates more opportunities for our fans to win when we win,” said Smith. “Whether on the field or flying with Delta, our team is proud to represent Seattle.”
Throughout the 2023-2024 season, 12Status members will earn one mile for every Seahawks passing yard during all home and away games and have access to exclusive benefits for this program:
Priority boarding for 12Status members in Main Cabin 1 is back. Members can take advantage of this benefit during the season when departing from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
12% off purchases on the 12th of each month during the 2023-2024 season at the team’s official Seahawks Pro Shop stores in Renton, Washington, and at Lumen Field.
“The start of the season means we get to run it back to reward fans for their loyalty to the Seahawks and Delta,” said Joan Wang, Delta Managing Director - Pacific Northwest. “We are thrilled to begin our seventh season with our partners in Seattle and to support Seahawks fans from the stadium to the skies.”
With more than 70,000 Seahawk fans already enrolled in the 12status program for this season, fans of flying and Seahawks football can start earning miles beginning this weekend.
Like all Delta SkyMiles, miles awarded through the program do not expire and can be redeemed for travel across Delta's global network, travel with our partners, Delta Vacations packages, seat upgrades and more. Additionally, discounts through 12Status can be applied in combination with season ticket holder discounts.
Since the program launched in 2016, milestones include:
5.5 billion total miles redeemed by members since the first time they joined the 12Status Program.
491,000 award tickets flown among 12Status Members who have earned 12Status miles since the program launched in September 2016.
700 unique destinations
Las Vegas is the top award travel destination for the second year in a row.
