Matt Sparks, S.V.P. - Operations and Customer Center (OCC) and Ops Analytics
Matt Sparks is Senior Vice President – Operations and Customer Center (OCC) and Ops Analytics for Delta Air Lines. In this role, Matt has oversight of Delta’s worldwide operations.
The OCC encompasses a vast array of disciplines from nearly every branch of Delta’s operational and customer divisions to make proactive and real time decisions, resulting in record-breaking operational performance and industry leading results that Delta is well known for.
Matt also leads the Ops Analytics team as they continue to advance the use of analytics, data science, and data-driven performance management across the organization. In his 25 years with Delta, he has held key leadership roles in Engineering, Maintenance, and Airport Operations.
In addition to his role at Delta, Matt serves on the Board of Directors for Atlanta Habitat for Humanity. Matt holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Emory University.
