Delta is building on its lead as LAX’s largest carrier with a winter schedule that brings more flights, more seats and more options for Angelenos heading to Florida.
With these additions, Delta will offer 12 daily departures and 2,328 peak‑day seats to Florida – its largest‑ever LAX–Florida schedule and a meaningful enhancement to one of the airport’s highest‑demand leisure corridors.
Customers will see expanded options from LAX to key Florida markets, including:
- New nonstop service to Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) beginning November 20, 2026
- Expanded service to Tampa International Airport (TPA) with three daily flights year-round, beginning November 9, 2026
- An increase to five daily flights to Orlando International Airport (MCO), beginning November 20, 2026
All flights will be operated on the state-of-the-art Airbus A321neo, offering Delta’s latest onboard experience equipped with fast, free Wi-Fi for SkyMiles members.
“Los Angeles is one of our most important global gateways, and these additions give our customers more choice and flexibility across the network,” said Amy Martin, Delta’s Vice President of Network Planning. “With expanded Florida service and new routes to Hong Kong and Chicago coming this summer, we’re continuing to build a network at LAX that meets our customers’ needs and reflects Delta’s momentum in the region.”
Delta: LAX’s defining carrier featuring unmatched global connectivity
Delta is further strengthening its network this summer with daily nonstop service to Hong Kong (HKG) beginning June 6, 2026, and three daily flights to Chicago O’Hare (ORD) beginning June 7, 2026 – adding more choice in two highly demanded international and domestic markets. These routes build on Delta’s global footprint at LAX, which grew last year with service to Melbourne (MEL) and Shanghai (PVG).
As LAX’s largest carrier, Delta operates:
- 166 peak-day departures
- Service to 61 destinations
- 20 international routes across Delta and partner airlines
- Service across all top 10 LAX demand cities*, including New York City, Boston and Chicago beginning June 2026
- Transcontinental service from LAX to JFK, BOS, ATL and DCA, setting the standard for premium, coast‑to‑coast travel
As the Official Airline of Team USA, Delta is building on this foundation to help strengthen Los Angeles’ role as a global crossroads – expanding service, enhancing the travel experience, and supporting the city as it prepares to bring the world to LA. Together, these efforts deepen Delta’s partnership with the region and ensure both Angelenos and visitors benefit from a more seamless, world‑class gateway.
The new PBI and MCO seasonal frequencies join the already‑available third daily TPA flight in Delta’s expanded Winter ’26 schedule.
