Delta Air Lines is announcing new partnerships in professional and amateur golf that further its support of women’s athletics. The new deals will focus exclusively on female athletes, as Delta aims to establish a well-rounded and gender-balanced set of partners under its broader commitments to diversity, equity and inclusion.

National AMT Day honors the legacy of Charles E. Taylor, who became known as the "father of aviation maintenance” after serving as the mechanic for the first planes flown by the Wright Brothers. Since 2008, Delta Air Lines has celebrated National AMT Day on May 24 – Taylor's birthday – to recognize the unsung efforts of AMTs and the vital role they play in global air travel. The new eastern portion of Concourse A will ultimately feature 22 gates and 19 restaurants and shops. More gates will open later this summer, and the entire portion will be operational by Oct. 31, 2023.

Delta will purchase up to 10 million gallons of neat SAF from Shell Aviation over a two-year period for use at its hub at Los Angeles International Airport. This will increase the global airline’s SAF commitments to over 200 million gallons – more than halfway to its goal of SAF comprising 10% of its fuel use annually by end of 2030*, and well on its way to 35% SAF use by 2035.

Delta Air Lines is introducing its first fully electric catering truck at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport in collaboration with Asito. It's a new initiative that reduces both CO2 emissions and pollution from diesel.

The zero-emission catering truck will be deployed for three months to supply Delta's aircraft at the gate.
