Delta will begin its final testing of new paper cups on board transcontinental flights starting in December 2023. This latest sustainability milestone underscores the airline’s commitment to innovation and progress. Pending testing, the new paper cups will be rolled out throughout Delta’s network.

Official Delta projections put the total estimated customer count between 6.2 million and 6.4 million from Friday, Nov. 17-Tuesday, Nov. 28 – averaging 515,000-530,000 customers a day.

The Concourse A expansion at Salt Lake City International Airport is now complete with the addition of 13 new gates, bringing Delta’s total number of gates to 50 as the airline provides more than 230 peak-day departures at SLC.
