It takes an average of 22 years for a Delta customer to travel one million miles. But over the course of about three decades, one flier has accumulated more miles in the air than anyone else: 14 million miles.

Delta customers in New York City can expect to see upgrades and expansions at both of Delta’s local hubs this year, as New York City’s No. 1 airline deepens the $7 billion infrastructure investment it’s made in New York airports alone since 2010.
Due to forecasted weather in the Southeast and Northeast regions of the U.S., Delta has issued a travel waiver for those who may be impacted – effective on May 26-28, 2022.
Beginning Nov. 19, Delta will be the only airline to offer daily nonstop flights from Atlanta to Maui as well as from Detroit to Honolulu. On Dec. 17, the airline will also begin daily nonstop service from New York-JFK to Honolulu.
The expansion continues Delta’s history of investments in New York and will allow Delta to offer customers a seamless travel experience by consolidating operations into Terminal 4.
