This recognition comes a few months after the airline was recognized with an unprecedented six awards in 2018.In words of the WTA, these accolades "recognize the commitment to excellence" demonstrated by Delta.

"There is no better way to begin 2019 than receiving these awards that validate our continuous work to offer the best service in the industry," said Nicolas Ferri, Delta's Vice President – Latin America and Alliances in the Americas. "We want to thank all our employees and allies in the region who support our operations every day and make Delta the best option to connect the Americas and the world."

Dale McKinney, District Sales Manager – English-speaking Caribbean, received the award on behalf of the airline at Sandals, Montego Bay, Jamaica, on Jan. 28.
