Delta Air Lines will continue refreshing its fuel-efficient, state-of-the-art fleet after executing options for 12 new Airbus A220-300 aircraft.

Delta customers in New York City can expect to see upgrades and expansions at both of Delta’s local hubs this year, as New York City’s No. 1 airline deepens the $7 billion infrastructure investment it’s made in New York airports alone since 2010.

This agreement is a homecoming for Delta, harkening back to the arena’s original opening in 1991 when the airline held the naming rights as part of its first sponsorship with the NBA franchise. Within the long-term agreement, Delta will serve as the Official Airline of the Utah Jazz, adding to its current role as an Official Community Partner of the team.

Since 2007, Delta has rewarded employees with industry-leading profit-sharing payments: more than $9.2 billion since 2010.

Delta Air Lines reported financial results Friday for the December quarter and full year 2022 and provided its outlook for the March quarter 2023.

Delta became the first major U.S. airline to introduce fast, free Wi-Fi for all, in partnership with T-Mobile. The experience is available on most domestic mainline aircraft as of Feb. 1, with full availability on international and regional aircraft by the end of 2024.

For nearly a week, Delta people have managed challenges and constraints brought on by historic winter weather across most of the U.S.

A landmark of abundant nature and appeals to all senses, Cape Town is an adventurer’s paradise. Delta launched its non-stop service between Cape Town and the airline’s hometown of Atlanta. The direct route comes just weeks after the start of Delta’s between the cities via Johannesburg.

The Spirit of Delta takes on new significance as Delta launches a fundraising campaign to ensure the long-term health of its employee assistance fund, known as the Delta Care Fund. The Spirit of Giving campaign sets a goal of raising $30 million for the Care Fund.

Delta is delivering on key operational and commercial milestones and is ahead of its financial plan for the first year of the airline’s three-year plan, established last December.
