Millions of airline customers representing more than 100 nationalities participated in the Skytrax survey to determine this year’s winners. Delta’s double recognition is a testament to the team’s hard work and focus on delivering outstanding customer service as the airline has risen to meet an unprecedented amount of demand.

Two Delta leaders – Matteo Curcio and Jeff Moomaw – have been named leaders of key international regions in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India and Asia and the South Pacific.

After leaving Detroit for her honeymoon cruise, newlywed Lawryn Fellwock came to a horrible realization: She’d left her passport at home – necessary for her to board the ship. Luckily, Delta people came to the rescue with a plan to whisk the document to Lawryn in time for her voyage.

Customers traveling on Delta can take advantage of more than 650 weekly flights across the pond in peak summer, a remarkable 30% increase in the airline's seat capacity compared to 2022.

Delta served more than 2.7 million customers on 22,000 flights over the holiday period May 25-29, setting the stage for an operation customers can count on during a busy summer season.

Last June, for the inaugural year of this endeavor, a Delta Charter flight touched down in Deauville, France – a first for a U.S. passenger airline – to return WWII veterans to the site for D-Day commemorations. On May 31, the historic charter once again departed to return WWII Veterans to the beaches of Normandy for the 79th anniversary of D-Day.

The partnership has improved customer experience, enhanced its combined network and benefited more than 7 million customers since launching in May 2018. Delta and Korean Air rapidly grew connecting passengers over ICN to 2,000 per day each way, an increase of more than 40% in five years despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

The west headhouse, which features self-service kiosks to drop bags and/or print boarding passes, gives customers another entry point to easily check in and get to security. Later this summer, Delta expects to implement digital ID technology at bag drop and security checkpoints, allowing eligible customers to use their biometric data to more seamlessly move through the airport.

Delta Air Lines is announcing new partnerships in professional and amateur golf that further its support of women’s athletics. The new deals will focus exclusively on female athletes, as Delta aims to establish a well-rounded and gender-balanced set of partners under its broader commitments to diversity, equity and inclusion.

National AMT Day honors the legacy of Charles E. Taylor, who became known as the "father of aviation maintenance” after serving as the mechanic for the first planes flown by the Wright Brothers. Since 2008, Delta Air Lines has celebrated National AMT Day on May 24 – Taylor's birthday – to recognize the unsung efforts of AMTs and the vital role they play in global air travel.
