Millions of airline customers representing more than 100 nationalities participated in the Skytrax survey to determine this year’s winners. Delta’s double recognition is a testament to the team’s hard work and focus on delivering outstanding customer service as the airline has risen to meet an unprecedented amount of demand.

Two Delta leaders – Matteo Curcio and Jeff Moomaw – have been named leaders of key international regions in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India and Asia and the South Pacific.

The partnership has announced five new U.S.-South America routes and increased capacity by 75% since implementing their joint venture. Delta and LATAM’s complementary networks and award-winning customer experience are winning over new customers and generating travel demand.

The dividend is payable to shareholders of record as of the close of business on July 17, 2023, and will be paid on August 7, 2023.

The west headhouse, which features self-service kiosks to drop bags and/or print boarding passes, gives customers another entry point to easily check in and get to security. Later this summer, Delta expects to implement digital ID technology at bag drop and security checkpoints, allowing eligible customers to use their biometric data to more seamlessly move through the airport.

Delta displayed its sustainability strategy in action as part of the second annual SkyTeam Alliance Sustainable Flight Challenge. The challenge tests sustainable solutions as the company works toward net zero emissions by 2050 while delivering elevated, more sustainable travel experiences. These flights showcased the company’s strategy in action from the electric ground support equipment to reducing single-use plastic onboard and actions that reduce emissions.

Delta has named Mike Spanos as Chief Operating Officer and the newest member of the Delta Leadership Committee, effective June 12. Spanos spent more than 25 years in a variety of leadership roles at PepsiCo and the Pepsi Bottling Group.
